3-Day Mountain Trail Horse Clinic

Whether you’re an experienced adventurer or just beginning your journey, it’s crucial to have the skills and knowledge to survive in the wilderness. This clinic is designed to help immerse women riders in the safety equipment and expertise you need for backcountry horse travel.

Morning sessions will involve learning and practicing our trusted groundwork and riding techniques while navigating challenging trail obstacles. Afternoon sessions will involve hands-on horse management techniques necessary, when improved horse sites are not available. First-aid and safety equipment, navigation and communication options will also be presented. Evenings will be enjoyed with meal options that are easy to prepare with lightweight travelling equipment.

You will leave this clinic with a solid understanding of how to navigate both you and your equine partner through the wilderness adventures your heart desires.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are not offered, but you may reschedule once within that year. To reschedule, please contact us at least seven weeks before your course date. There is a $200 rescheduling fee, valid only within the original booking year and if space is available.
