Intro to Jumping

Taught by Alison Zimmerman

The introduction to the jumping clinic is for equestrians who would like to learn to jump, and who have little or no experience in jumping. During this clinic, we will fine-tune basics on the flat that are needed to be successful over fences, learn about the biomechanics of the horse and rider that are in play when jumping, and then work on executing those skills in the ring. We will be using ground poles and small cross rails for this clinic. As well as doing grid work to enhance steering and control speed and rhythm.
