Every year here at the ranch we will be opening a working student position to one person. The position will require the applicant to have at least 1 to 5 years of horse experience and be familiar with how to care for them. The training the student will be provided will range from bare hoof trimming, starting young horses, training, Mountain trail, endurance rides, driving, bodywork, and much more.
The responsibilities of the student will be to help care for, ride and maintain the herd at the ranch, assist with clinics and general maintenance and clean up around the ranch. The student will also be exposed to endurance rides, driving, bodywork, and much more. The program can be from 3 months to a year. There will be either a work trade or a fee of $1000. Per month. There is also housing that will be an additional fee of $400. Per month. The student can bring their own horse for the boarding fee of $300. Per month including food. There can also be partial scholarships given out by the ranch.

The Log House on the hill

The 3 story log house on the upper property has extraordinary views of the canyon. The décor captures the true nature of the canyon in its colors and design. The kitchen was designed for large groups to entertain and enjoy each other while being able to enjoy the large picture windows to the outside wonders. There are 4 separate bedrooms. The master suite boasts tall vaulted ceilings with a grand bathroom that has a beautiful custom red travertine bathroom that has a double head shower. The middle floor has a queen bed that has great views of the upper canyon and pastures. It has a separate bath right next to it. The bottom floor rooms are 1 large with a queen bed and a smaller room for kids with twin bunk beds and a separate bathroom. There is a large workout and common area with a large tv and another queen couch that can be used.

$425.00 a night 2-day minimum

In the winter there is a 4wd SUV furnished that is chained up due to the hill being snowy or icy. So please check in on what conditions are prior to coming in the months of November to April.
